Courchevel is first and foremost a name that resonates around the world for its exceptional skiing. Connected to the largest ski area on the planet—the Three Valleys—the resort offers an endless playground: immaculately groomed slopes, spectacular panoramas, mountain restaurants and iconic après-ski spots. Whether you are an experienced skier or prefer snowshoe walks, here the mountains are lived intensely, from the first light of day to the last falling snowflake.
When the snow gives way to flower-filled alpine meadows, Courchevel reveals another side—more intimate, more peaceful. Hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, golf at 2,000 metres, high-altitude lakes for picnics or a refreshing dip… Pure mountain air and summer light turn each day into a magical escape. And as evening falls, guests gather on terraces for a drink, watching the mountains blush at sunset.
Courchevel is a collection of interconnected villages, each with its own unique atmosphere:
With more than 600 kilometres of interconnected slopes, les 3 Vallées bring together the valleys of Saint-Bon (Courchevel), Les Allues (Méribel and Mottaret), Les Belleville (Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens), and even a fourth valley—the Maurienne, with the Orelle area. It is the ultimate dream for ski lovers: each day a new valley, a new panorama, a new pleasure. And for non-skiers? Scenic walks, snowshoeing, spa experiences, shopping, paragliding, sledging… the mountains can be discovered in countless ways.
Courchevel is a living, authentic and elegant mountain—meant to be discovered at your own pace, just as we experience it every day. And because we are locals, we love to share what makes it so special.
LAC DE LA ROSIÈRE
In summer, this is a perfect natural setting for a walk along the botanical trail leading to the Cascade des Poux, or further on to Les Avals—or for those feeling more adventurous, a climb to the Dent du Villard, one of Courchevel’s iconic peaks.
In winter, the frozen lake and snow-covered fir trees create a fairytale atmosphere straight out of a storybook.
And don’t forget to stop along the way for a crêpe at Roland’s chalet.
LES FERMES DE PRALIN
From the Belvédère (Courchevel Moriond), a loop winds through the forest before opening up into sunny alpine terrain, passing the Pralin farms. A stunning spot for walks year-round, thanks to a pedestrian path running alongside the cross-country ski trail.
LES AVALS
Continuing along the trail from the Belvédère brings you to the Avals plateau—a wild and breathtaking area where, for just a few weeks in spring, you may encounter a temporary lake.
In summer, it becomes a true marmot haven, especially beyond the second plateau and further uphill.

The Olympic Ski Jumps of Le Praz As you head down to the village of Le Praz, don’t miss the Olympic ski jumps built for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics.
Steeped in history yet very much alive, the site still hosts training sessions. With a bit of luck, you may see ski jumpers launching themselves into the air—a fascinating sight, summer or winter.
Quality street food made with care and fresh ingredients. We especially love their lobster roll, a real gem that’s a refreshing change from the classic burger. Bonus: it’s located right next to the hotel!
A lovely bistro-style address—friendly, relaxed and unpretentious—perfect for sharing a good meal at the end of the day.
Two locations: Courchevel 1850 (Forum) and Courchevel Moriond. Ideal for a quick Asian meal—always fresh, fragrant and full of flavour. Perfect when you want to eat well without wasting time between runs.
Our favourite on-the-slopes restaurant, loved for its incredible terrace, delicious cuisine and warm atmosphere—often enhanced by live bands during the day.
A lively spot for the evening: good food, drinks, live bands revisiting French classics—and more often than not, you end up dancing without even realising it. Courchevel’s convivial spirit at its best.
Just steps from the hotel, this restaurant stands out for Catherine’s warm, personal welcome and Benoît’s refined, flavourful cuisine.
With family or friends, don’t miss Aquamotion, Courchevel’s large aquatic complex. Aquamotion : le grand complexe aquatique de Courchevel.
Children (and parents!) love the slides, wild rivers and heated pools.
For a quieter moment, head to the wellness area: saunas, hammams, salt caves and an outdoor pool with mountain views—a true delight after a day on the slopes.
After a day of skiing, nothing beats a relaxing massage or a soothing spa experience.
A cosy, cocooning atmosphere in the heart of Courchevel 1850—perfect for easing tired muscles and extending the pleasure of skiing in a soft, intimate setting.
An elegant space with an indoor pool and high-end treatments, ideal for a serene escape.
Offering facial treatments, massages and beauty services, Caroline welcomes guests in a dedicated space in Courchevel 1850 during summer and autumn, and provides in-room services throughout the winter.
A true sporting capital, Courchevel has mastered the art of hosting exceptional events—local, national and international alike. Tour de France stages, Alpine Ski World Championships, Ski World Cups, ski jumping competitions, weekly ski touring races… a calendar as rich as it is exciting.

Several times during the season—especially during French school holidays—the ESF instructors of Courchevel put on magical evening shows: torchlight descents, impressive demonstrations and fireworks beneath the stars.
A moment of wonder for young and old alike—and believe us, even after years here, it never loses its magic.
